My last travel destination was Udaipur. I visited this place under a budget of Rs 8500. We all know the augustness of Udaipur City, Rajasthan. It is one of the best destinations for people to travel to.

Road Trip

Udaipur is about 266 km from Ahmedabad. You can visit Udaipur by Flight. It is located 20 km from Udaipur. It is well connected to major cities in Rajasthan and the rest of India by Udaipur. Also, Udaipur lies on a vast network of rail that connects it to major cities in India such as Jaipur, Delhi, Kolkata, Indore, Mumbai and Kota

I travelled to Udaipur by car i10. I Started My Journey at around 6:45 AM. And I reached to the city nearby at 1:00 p.m. My Full Petrol cost for the Journey was Rs.4000, including the visit to the nearest places also.

I like to explore local cafes and street food in any city when I am there. I went to a café called Jheel’s Ginger Coffee Bar & Bakery. It’s one of the best places to spend time, the location is perfect and near to the lake the view you got from this place is amazing. Food is amazing and authentic; you’ll order more than you want to order. A must-visit café for your next Udaipur trip. Also, the street food near Fateh sager lake is so yummy.

Things to Do in Udaipur

Tour the City Palace: Erected by Maharana Udai Singh, the grand City Palace overlooks Lake Pichola and houses the world’s largest private demitasse collection. The entrancing figure is Rs 50 per person. However, it’ll bring you Rs 150 further, If you want to catch the Light and Sound show from 7- 8 pm. See a puppet show: Traditional puppet shows are a must-see in Udaipur. Check one out at the Bharatiya Lok Kala Museum. Tickets range from Rs 30-40 per person.

Take a boat ride to Jag Mandir Palace: This hour-long boat lift starts from the quay near the City Palace and offers stunning views of the ghats lining the lake. Boat rides cost Rs 300 per grown-up, and evening boat rides cost Rs 500.

Old city Cycle Tour: You can travel through the Old City and indulge in a discussion with the locals, to know further about this City of Palaces.

Trek your way: Yes! Udaipur offers some touring trails as well. Start beforehand, at about 7 in the morning from Morvanya Village and journey along with the amazing geographies of the timber and vale, while witnessing diversified foliage and fauna.
